Creston remembers its fallen

Creston VFW members Gary O'Daniels, left, and Tom Hawks during the Creston Memorial Day Service Monday at Graceland Cemetery.

Creston First Bapitst Pastor David Tebbenkamp referred to Ecclesiastes 3 as part of his devotional during the Creston Memorial Day service held Monday at Graceland Cemetery. He said the scripture reminds people of periods or changes in life. He referred to part of the scripture that describes war and conflict.

“A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time of war and a time of peace,” he said.
