Four running for 2 supervisor seats

Including two incumbents, Union County voters will have four candidates to choose from for the two Union County Board of Supervisor election this year.

The four candidates are incumbents Dennis Brown and Rick Friday. Others are Bill Oetken and Tom Spencer. All are running on the Republican ticket. The primary election is Tuesday, June 4.

Brian Bolton is the candidate for sheriff. He announced his campaign at the Creston location on caucus night in January after Mark Shepherd said he will not be running for another term. Hysell and Bolton are also on the Republican ticket.

Incumbent auditor Sandy Hysell is also running for re-election.

Candidate petition forms were due Friday at the Union County Courthouse.
