The Iowa Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC) and Southwestern Community College (SWCC) are hosting a college fair from from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sept. 22 at Creston Community High School gymnasium, 601 W. Townline St.
According to Deb Peterson, SWCC admissions representative and event coordinator, approximately 50 exhibitors — colleges and universities, vocational/technical schools, military branches, etc.—will be on-hand to speak to students about college and training opportunities. This is a great event for individuals to visit with admissions representatives prior to applying to colleges and universities.
Each year, the IACAC hosts more than 35 College Day/College Night programs throughout the state to provide a supportive environment for students to obtain information and appropriate counseling helpful in their college selection process.
