The Iowa State University Union County Extension and Outreach office are hosting a grain marketing meeting, 6 p.m. March 18, at NewGen Feed Supply, corner of Osage and Townline Streets in Creston.
The meeting will last approximately 1.5 hours and will be facilitated by Tim Christensen, farm and agriculture business management specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach, discussing various strategies of grain marketing with emphasis on marketing tools available and using those tools to create a grain marketing plan for the 2021 crop. Anyone wanting to learn more about seasonal price trends and basis trends to reach price goals should attend.
