Celebrate National Library Week

Take time this week to rediscover the library

Celebrate National Library Week at Greenfield Public Library, April 6-12. National Library Week is a time to celebrate the many ways libraries bring people together, spark imagination and support lifelong learning.

First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries of all types across the country each April.

This National Library Week, take time to rediscover the library and see how it draws us together as a community. Whether you’re visiting for books, resources or a place to connect, Greenfield Public Library is here for you!

This year for National Library Week, Greenfield Public Library hosted a bookmark drawing contest. The winners of the contest are Langley S. and Ameila F! Copies of the winning bookmarks will be available at the library starting April 7. Stop by to pick Langley’s and Ameila’s winning designs! Follow us on Facebook to see other fun library happenings during National Library Week.
