Dennis P. Crall

Denny Crall, 74, of Orient, passed away suddenly on Oct. 2, 2024.

Dennis Patrick Crall was born Dec. 2, 1949, to Robert and Helen (Brugos, Popson) Crall in Albia, and was raised in Monroe County. He graduated with the class of 1968 from Albia High School. Denny then went on to Northeast Missouri State at Kirksville, where he earned his BA degree.

Denny met Cheryl Beary and they were married Sept. 7, 1974 in Weller. He farmed in Adair County since the early 1980s and was a member of the Madison County Pork Producers.

Denny is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons, Denny Crall Jr. and Michael Crall; brothers, Bernard (Marian) Crall, Greg Crall, Steve (Jeanne) Crall and Ed (Sally) Crall ; sisters, Mary Jo (Lowell) Beary and Barb Kurimski; brother-in-law, Pete Heles; sister-in-law, Kathleen Crall and three grandchildren: Artemis, Tobin and Callum Crall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen; his brothers, Tom Crall and Bob Crall and his sisters: Lorraine Heles, Martha (Louis) Flattery and Phyllis (Hal) Doran.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Oct. 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset, with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Weller.
