Additional names announced for general election

Offices in the Nov. 5 general election overseen by the Iowa Secretary of State’s office were officially released Thursday, Sept. 12, in addition to races listed in last week’s edition.

Those additional names are as follows:

President/Vice President:

• Democratic - Kamala D. Harris/Tim Walz

• Republican - Donald J. Trump/JD Vance

• Libertarian - Chase Oliver/Mike ter Maat

• Party for Socialism and Liberation - Claudia De la Cruz/ Karina Garcia

• Socialist Party USA - William P. Stodden/Stephanie H. Chloensky

• We the People - Robert F. Kennedy/Nicole Shanahan

• No Party - Shiva Ayyadurai/Crystal Ellis
