Area schools to honor veterans on Friday

The Nodaway Valley and Orient-Macksburg Community School Districts invites area veterans to Veterans Day programs Friday, Nov. 10 in the area schools.

Nodaway Valley Elementary School begins its program to start the day at 9 a.m. The high school program will be at 10 a.m. with the middle school closing out the day at 2 p.m.

Light snacks will follow the NVHS celebration.

There will also be a reception following the middle school program that veterans are invited to attend.

Orient-Macksburg will have a Veterans Day Celebration 10:30 a.m. Friday in the school gym that veterans are also invited to attend.
