Melcher-Dallas topped Orient-Macksburg girls basketball Friday, Jan. 6, 64-39 at home.
The Bulldogs held a 14-12 lead after the first quarter but trailed 39-23 at halftime.
M-D sophomore Addison Waddle exploded for 35 points in the win, canning nine 3-pointers. Paetyn Anderson contributed 13 points for the Saints.
Senior guard Christa Cass led the Bulldogs with 16 points.
Orient-Macksburg had a game scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Lamoni.
