Creston Farmers’ Market (Mondays)

The Creston Farmer’s Market is every Monday night from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the southeast corner of McKinley Park in Creston. Follow Creston Farmer’s Market on Facebook to keep up on all the details.

Fridays after Five (July 10)

The concert series held on the east lawn of the Elks Lodge will feature a different musical artist each Friday from 5:08 to 7:08 p.m. until Sept. 4. This week’s musical guest will be Beards of a Feather, and will be sponsored by Hazel Maries and Gibson Memorial Library.

Future Founders 2020 Day Camp celebration event (July 10)

Future Founders 2020 is a youth entrepreneurship day camp being established for youth in Union County to learn about entrepreneurship in a fun and interactive way. A celebration for the program will be at 5 p.m. July 10 at McKinley Park.

Yoga Hike at Poe Hollow Park (July 11)

Ringgold County Conservation is hosting a Yoga Hike at Poe Hollow Park again this year. Join certified yoga teacher Michelle Wilson from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11 for her signature Yoga Hike. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the trail, practice mindfulness and enjoy an all-levels yoga practice. This is a great activity to get out and enjoy the summer while also practicing social distancing.

Brandon Gibbs in concert at Warren Cultural Center (July 11)

Brandon Gibbs, multi-talented musician, writer and entertainer will perform at the Warren Cultural Center on the square in Greenfield, 7 p.m. July 11 in the last of WCC’s 2019-20 “Locals and Legends” series.

Brandon Gibbs is a national recording artist and guitar player with a powerful, soulful voice and is also proud to call Iowa his home. His music features genres of rock, blues, pop and country. Gibbs is also the front man for supergroup “Devil City Angels” (2014-present) featuring Rikki Rockett (Poison) Traci Guns (L.A.Guns) and Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy).
