The Creston News Advertiser is calling on the community’s support for its “Food for Friends” campaign.
As food pantries all across America are experiencing heavy usage with increased unemployment and under-employment surging due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more residents of our communities are in need. Because of this, the CNA has decided to help its friends by raising funds for the Creston Area Food Pantry.
Through the end of May, monetary donations made through the campaign will be given to the Creston Area Food Pantry to help residents within the region who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our goal is to raise $7,000. As of today, we have raised $6,145 thanks to the following generous members of Creston and surrounding communities:
• Roger and Michelle Jackson, $50
• A friend, $20
• A Friend, $60
• Cheri and Jack Davis, $200
• In Memory of Scott Jamison, $20
• Cory and Sheryl Phillipe, in memory of Bobbie DeBord, $100
