Lions Club hosting upcoming basketball, wrestling tournaments for youth

The Greenfield Lions Club will be hosting their youth basketball tournament Feb. 8-9 and their youth wrestling tournament Sunday, Feb. 16 at Nodaway Valley High School.

The basketball tournament begins at 8 a.m. both days. Teams from Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Nevada, Nodaway Valley, Lenox, Johnston, Earlham, Creston, Southeast Warren, Southwest Valley, Martensdale-St. Marys, Norwalk, Winterset and Carroll will be playing in the tournament.

The wrestling tournament will include wrestlers pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. Weigh-ins begin at 8 a.m. with wrestling beginning at 10 a.m.
