Travis Morgan Jr., 44, of Creston, died Sept. 23, 2019, at EveryStep Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston.
A celebration of life memorial service will be 10 a.m. Sept. 28 at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Avenue in Creston. Pastor Paul Vandevender will officiate. Visitation with family present will be 9 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences can be given at www.powersfh.com.
Travis Eugene Morgan Jr., son of Travis Eugene and Cathie Genean (Alewine) Morgan was born April 7, 1975, in San Angelo, Texas. Travis was educated in schools in Sonora, Texas. Following his education, Travis worked in oil and gas drilling in Texas.
On July 12, 2006, Travis married Ethelyn Lou (Samson) in Manila, Philippines. They settled in Creston. Travis worked as a supervisor at the local bean processing plant and later for Altec, Inc. in Osceola.
Travis is survived by his wife Ethel Morgan; daughters: Kristen Morgan of Raceland, Louisiana, Haylee Morgan and Samantha Morgan both of Creston; father Travis Morgan Sr. of Creston; mother Genean Alewine of Creston; brothers: Aaron Morgan of Leon and Brandon (Connie) Morgan of Gladewater, Texas; sister Shanna Morgan of Gilmer, Texas; and three grandchildren.
