Week nine South Central Iowa Athletes of the week: (Oct. 15-20)

The ninth fall sports South Central Iowa Athlete of the Week polls have been conducted with four winners. (Oct. 15-20).

Polls were conducted on the Twitter profile of CNA/OST/FO/ACFP sports editor Carter Eckl (@CarterEckl) and on esurveypro.com.

Football – Richie Griglione – Senior – Interstate 35

In a 21-18 win over Pella Christian: Had eight receptions for 109 yards and a TD, seven carries for 30 yards and a TD along with 2 1/2 tackles and a TFL

In 3-0 win against Wayne: Had 19 kills, 13 digs, two solo blocks and two aces on 7-of-8 serving. Went on to set the all-time school kills record the next week.

At AC/GC SQM: Qualified for the state meet in 14th place in 18:37.18

At Marshalltown SQM: Qualified for the state meet in 10th in 21:13.2
