Cross Country

• Part of 2015, 2016, 2017 state champion cross country teams, marking the first school in Class 1A history to win three consecutive 1A titles.

• One of two three-time state champions at Nodaway Valley.

• Won the Pride of Iowa distance sweep, taking first place in the 5K (16:55) for cross country and the 3,200 (10:00.42) and 1,600 (4:45.22) in track and field season.

• Finished third at the 2017 state cross country meet in a time of 16:23.1, setting a new school record.

• Named to USA Today’s/Des Moines Register’s All-Iowa team.

• Named team captain his senior year.

• Two-time state medalist winner.

• Two-time all-state selection.

Track and Field

• Took second in the Class 1A 3,200 meter run – in a time of 9:30.57, a new school record – behind the fastest runner regardless of class (Gable Sieperda, Central Lyon).

• Earned All-state in Iowa track and field in 2018.

• Finished third at state in the 1,600 – in a time of 4:28.31 – setting a new school record.

• Holds all three distance record at Nodaway Valley.

• Named to USA Today’s/Des Moines Register’s All-Iowa team.

• Named team captain his senior year.

• Four-time state qualifier in the 3,200.

• Three-time state medalist winner.
