Creston Hy-Vee released a statement through Facebook that it will soon undergo a remodeling effort to better meet its customers’ shopping habits last week.
“The remodeling will allow us to offer new products and services, including a convenience store with fuel pumps, expanded wine and spirits department and expanded quick and easy meals for families to enjoy,” the Facebook post said.
The Creston Hy-Vee is not the only store that will be making changes; the Osceola location will undergo the same renovations as well.
“These stores have served customers in the local community for many years and we are committed to improving these stores for our valued, loyal shoppers,” said Tina Potthoff, vice president of communications for Hy-Vee.
The improvements to the stores in Creston and Osceola will include a new Hot Deals wall of value that will include deals on food and various products, a dollar section and a section that will feature Hy-Vee’s That’s Smart products and other private label brands with affordable prices.
“Along with these changes, we will add a Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh Express convenience store with multiple gas pumps in both Creston and Osceola to be able to deliver even greater value to our customers through our Hy-Vee Fuel Saver and Perks program,” said Potthoff.
The stores will also each have a walk-in beer cooler and expanded wine and spirits section after the renovations are completed.
Construction will begin in both Osceola and Creston early this week.
