The fifth spring sports South Central Iowa player of the week polls have been conducted with five winners voted upon by the CNA staff for week five (April 30-May 5).
Polls were conducted on the Twitter profile of CNA/OST/FO/ACFP sports reporter Carter Eckl (@CarterEckl) and at https://cnacontests.blogspot.com/.

Soccer — Creston senior Kalan Bloodgood
(47 percent of combined vote on Twitter and CNA contests website)
Scored goal in win over Chariton. Defensive tackle and takeaway specialist.
Girls track —Nodaway Valley sophomore Reagan Weinheimer
(50 percent of the combined vote on Twitter and CNA contests website)
POI meet: Won 400 meter dash in 1:01.90, took second in the 800, anchored winning sprint medley and was fourth in the 200 meter dash.
Boys track — Southwest Valley junior Jacob Webb
(34 percent of the combined vote on Twitter and CNA contests website)
POI meet: Won shot put title with a throw of 45 feet, 1 inch.
Golf — Southwest Valley sophomore Abbie Wetzel
(40 percent of the combined vote on Twitter and CNA contests website)
At POI championships: Finished fifth overall at POI championships by shooting a 99.
Tennis — Creston/O-M seniors Jaden Dirskell and Jacob Cook
(43 percent of the combined vote on Twitter and CNA contests website)
Won Hawkeye 10 doubles championship, including a 6-0, 6-0 finals win. Both won singles matches against Southwest Valley.
