Christopher Paul Stielow, 44, of Des Moines, was charged with assault and harassment 10:38 p.m. May 2 at the Polk County Jail.
Stielow was released on $4,000 bond.

Luke Allan Mullen, 35, of Bedford, was charged with domestic abuse assault and trespass-injury/damage more than $200 8:25 a.m. May 3 in Orient.
According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, the victim said she and Mullen had been arguing for several hours on and off and at one point, Mullen was on top of her holding her down on the couch causing her pain, which witnesses at the scene confirmed. Mullen was asked by the victim and the witnesses to leave several times, but he refused.
Mullen was being held on $1,000 bond.

Todd Richard Eble, 50, of Bridgewater, was charged on an outside warrant and for possession of drug paraphernalia 1:26 p.m. May 3 in Bridgewater.
According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, officers went to Eble’s residence to serve an arrest warrant and while speaking with him, they observed a marijuana pipe on the coffee table, which Eble said had been used to smoke marijuana. Eble said he found it in a box, but it appeared to have been recently used.
Able was being held on $300 bond.

Andre Lamont Sewell, 47, of Greenfield, was charged with felon in control of a firearm, assault causing serious injury, willful injury-bodily injury, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing emergency communication 3:28 p.m. May 4 in Greenfield.
According to Greenfield Police citations, on May 1, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which the victim was assaulted by Sewell. When the victim tried to leave, Sewell took her keys and prevented her from getting help. Also, in a May 4 search of Sewell’s residence, officers recovered two glass pipes containing a white residue thought to be methamphetamine.
Sewell was being held on $10,000 bond.
