HARLAN — Both the seventh and eighth grade Creston Middle School girls track teams took third place finished at the Tuesday, April 17 meet in Harlan.
For the seventh grade, Creston’s best performances came in the field events. Doryn Paup earned first in the high jump with her leap of 4 feet 4 inches.
Caylee Flynn won the discus with a toss of 63-10.
The Panthers’ 4x400 unit of Emma Pantini, Paup, Jacy Kralik and Tristen Rice won in a time of 5:04.59.
For the eighth graders, Hannah Rounds took the 1,500 meter run in 5:50.11.
The distance medley also won, as Makayla McIntosh, Brianna Fields, Halle Evans and Hannah Rounds posted a time of 5:16.76.
