Hoepker thrives for Stingrays

Gretchen Hoepker of the Southern Prairie YMCA Stingrays swam Sunday at the Iowa YMCA State Championship Meet in Marshalltown. She placed 8th in both the 100 IM and 25 Backstroke, and 13th in the 25 Butterfly. Gretchen has also qualified to compete in 5 events (25 Freestyle, 25 Backstroke, 50 Backstroke, 25 Butterfly, and 100 Individual Medley) at the Iowa YMCA North Central Regional Championship in Des Moines on March 17-18.
