Jane (Brown) King, 65, of Creston died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston.

Celebration of life services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Pearson Family Funeral Service and Cremation Center, 809 W. Montgomery St., in Creston with the Rev. Rick Titus officiating. Jane Elizabeth (Moon) King, daughter of Dale Laverne and Marie Frances (Endres) Moon, was born Jan. 5, 1953, in Creston. She was educated in Creston Public Schools, and lived all but two years of her life in Creston.

On Sept. 9, 1972, Jane married Otis “Det” Brown in Creston and Otis died in 1996. On June 15, 2013, Jane married Kenny King in Creston. Jane worked at Bunn-O-Matic for 28 years and at Casey’s for 15 years.

Jane is survived by her husband Kenny King of Creston; sons, Tim (Darlene) Brown of Glenwood, Todd (Joni) Brown, Christopher (Annette) Brown and Nathan (Kayla) Brown, all of Creston; daughters, Tammy Hansen of Glenwood, Tonya Brown and Shannon (Mannie) Shepherd, both of Creston; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepson Jeff King of Creston; brothers, Ted Moon of Creston and Richard Moon of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Cammy Moon of Creston and Kim (Rick) Shelton of Granbury, Texas; brother-in-law Alan King of Creston; sister-in-law Elaine Hines of Creston; and many nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her first husband Otis “Det” Brown; parents, Dale and Marie; son-in-law Joe LaMasters; brother Mike Moon; stepfather Lauren Wilson; mother-in-law Velma King Lorenz; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Bird and Ruth Brown and brothers-in-law, Denny and Donnie Brown.
