Dusty Giles, 28, of Creston died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., in Mount Ayr. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.armstrongfh.com.
Dusty, son of Ted and Christine Cobb Giles, was born Nov. 17, 1988, in a hospital in Des Moines. Dusty lived in Creston, Newton and other communities over the years.
On Sept. 18, 2010, Dusty married Darise Krumwiede. Dusty was a “jack of all trades” and did painting and plumbing work.
Dusty is survived by his wife Darise of Newton; daughter Tehya Radell Giles of Newton; father Ted Giles of Creston; mother Christine Cobb Giles of North Carolina; grandmother Elsie Creveling of Creston; siblings, Jeremy Lance Giles, Skylar LeRoy Lillie, Deon Curtis Giles, Shyane Renae Bird and Elsie Lorraine Giles; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
Dusty was preceded in death by his grandmother Lois Jarnigan and grandpa LeRoy Giles.
