Caitlyn Lesan and Ryan Maitlen were married July 23, 2016, at Honey Creek Resort in Moravia.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Danette Lesan of Creston. The groom is the son of Steve and Sue Maitlen of Creston.
Doug Greene of Mount Ayr officiated the ceremony.
Wedding colors were blush, charcoal and ivory.
Maid of honor was Nicole Lesan of Creston, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brianna Maitlen of Maryville, Missouri, and Cayla Maitlen of Creston, sisters of the groom, and Meghan Kalvig of Creston, friend of the bride.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero ivory, A-line wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline adorned with lace and buttons down the back. The bridesmaids wore blush-colored gowns with satin sashes.
Best man was Seth Maitlen of Creston, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Josh Maitlen of Denver, Colorado, brother of the groom, and Matt Carr of Lenox and Steven Henry of Stuart, friends of the groom.
The groom and groomsmen wore charcoal-gray suits.
A reception was held after the ceremony at Honey Creek Resort.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Creston High School. She graduated from Southwestern Community College in 2010, University of Iowa in Iowa City in 2012 and Peru State College in Peru, Nebraska, in 2016. She is currently employed as director of admissions and assistant director of the SWCC Education Foundation at Southwestern Community College.
The groom is a 2010 graduate of Creston High School. He graduated from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge in 2012. He is currently employed as Creston Police officer.
After a honeymoon in Nassau, Bahamas, the couple currently reside in Creston.
