HOW LONG HAS YOUR FAMILY SOLD SWEET CORN? About 39 years. I think next year is our 40th year.

WHEN IS SWEET CORN SEASON? From mid-July up until Labor Day. We usually don't have corn left to sell on Labor Day, but when we do, we have mile-long lines.

HOW DO YOU HELP ON THE FAMILY FARM? Right now, I help pick corn in the morning and sell it all day. My life during sweet corn season is nothing but sweet corn.

WHAT KIND OF PICK-UP DO YOU USE TO HAUL THE CORN INTO TOWN? My grandpa's. It's a '54 Chevy.

THE MOST SWEET CORN YOU'VE EVER SOLD TO ONE PERSON: 200 dozen

HOW MANY LOCATIONS DOES YOUR FAMILY UTILIZE IN SELLING SWEET CORN? Four – three in Creston, and this year, one in Afton

AVERAGE DAY OF SALES: About 120 dozen

BUSIEST DAY FOR SELLING: Fridays

HOW LONG DO YOU SELL CORN EACH DAY? From about 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or until the corn runs out

COST OF CORN: $4.50 for a baker's dozen

FAVORITE FALL ACTIVITY: Decorating the house for fall and baking pumpkins to eat. My mom grows pumpkins.

ALL-TIME FAVORITE MOVIE: "Singing in the Rain"
