Victoria Jansen, 74, of Creston died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Creston Specialty Care.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston. The Rev. Ken Halbur will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Creston. Open visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, in Creston. Victoria Rose Jansen, daughter of Ben and Anne Mary (Richter) Trame, was born July 31, 1941, in Breese, Illinois.
On June 20, 1961, Victoria married Robert James Jansen in St. Rose, Illinois. They lived in Washington, D.C.; Chicago, Illinois; Centralia, Illinois; Belleville, Illinois; Lincoln, Nebraska, and Creston. Victoria was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston, the Altar Guild and Rosary Society.
Victoria is survived by her husband Robert Jansen of Creston; daughter Donna Jansen of Jacksonville, Florida; sons, Ralph Jansen of Jacksonville, Florida, and David Jansen of Lenox; granddaughters, Meagan (Andrew) Wolson and Lauren Jansen of Jacksonville, Florida; grandson Bryan Jansen of Jacksonville, Florida, and sister Mary Jane (Walter) Orlet of Highland, Illinois.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Anne Trame; brothers, Bernard and Tom Trame and daughter-in-law Michelle Jansen.
