Linda L. Hardisty, 66, of Corning died May 27, 2014, at Corning Nursing and Rehab Center.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 701 Seventh St., Corning. The Rev. Fred Bryson will officiate. Inurnment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery north of Prescott. Visitation with family present will be one hour prior to services Friday. Linda L. Hardisty, daughter of Hazel Irene (Bohanan) and James Edward Yearington, was born Jan. 5, 1948, in Creston.
Linda graduated from Prescott Community High School in 1966.
In 1966, Linda married Eugene Hardisty. They were later divorced.
Linda worked in the printing department of a bank in Syracruse, N.Y., for 20 years, at Corning Nursing and Rehab Center as a nurses aide for 6 years and most recently drove a truck over the road for Expedited Freight.
Linda is survived by her sister Ruth (Russ) Stuedle of Otterville, Mo.; soul mate John Fister of Corning; one niece, one nephew; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
