Max Greimann Kellerton

Max Greimann, 84, of Kellerton died March 25, 2013, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the United Methodist Church in Kellerton. The Rev. Robin Thomas and the Rev. Joyce Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Row Cemetery in Kellerton. Open visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Friday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Max Greimann, son of Florence (Messinger) and Nicholas L. Greimann, was born April 12, 1928, at home west of Kellerton.

Max graduated from Kellerton High School.

On May 15, 1949, Max married Rosella L. Smith at the Methodist Church in Tingley.

Max lived and farmed west of Kellerton.

He was a member of Kellerton United Methodist Church.

Max is survived by his children, Paula (Danny) Webb of Kellerton and Lyle (Vicki) Greimann of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Nicholas (Elisa Jones) Webb of Paris, France, Danise Russo of Kellerton, Rick (Becky) Webb of Ankeny, Cory Greimann of Jamaica and Kelli Greimann of Gowrie; great-grandchildren, Jolie Parle, Braydon and Madison Greimann, Devin and Hannah Russo and Isaac and Carson Webb; and sister Darlene Weeda of Afton.

Max was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rosella March 26, 1998; brother Roe (Donna) Greimann; sister Pauline (Lawrence “Mugs”) Creveling; and three siblings in infancy.
