Smith, Gleason 
wed in Colorado

Amber Ann Smith and Dustin Ray Gleason, both of Montrose, Colo., were married in a 1 p.m. July 23 ceremony at the church in the Museum of the Mountain West in Montrose, Colo. The Rev. Colin Bowerman of Montrose, Colo., officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Janet Smith of Afton. The groom is the son of Gary and Gertie Gleason of Montrose, Colo., and Nina Jensen of Lorimor.

Maid of honor was Jamie Smith of Pleasant Hill, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Shannon and Sydney Smith of Afton and Heidi Cox, all cousins of the bride.

Personal attendants of the bride were Connie Cunningham and Mary Ann Hansen, aunt of the bride.

Best man was Phillip Gleason of Montrose, Colo., brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Jared Roberts, Justin Gleason, cousin of the groom, and Derek Frigetto, all of Montrose, Colo.

Ushers were Cody Smith of Osceola, brother of the bride, Dusty Mullin of Creston, cousin of the bride, Curtis Desselles of Pleasant Hill and Troy Frigetto of Montrose, Colo.

Ringbearer was Wyatt Gleason of Montrose, Colo., son of the groom.

Honored guests were Pat Smith of Afton, grandmother of the bride, Gary and Laura Gleason, grandparents of the groom, and Phyllis Gleason, grandmother of the groom.

Guest book hostesses were Lacy Mullin of Creston and Ashley Smith of Afton, cousins of the bride.

The bride wore a white, V-neck wedding dress with a sequined waistband and white, long-flowing skirt with a train and crown veil. She carried lavender and royal blue roses with baby’s breath.

Bridesmaids wore black, knee-length dresses with western-style boots.

The groom was dressed in blue and black and groomsmen were dressed in black.

A reception was held after the ceremony in the church at the Museum of the Mountain West.

Cake servers were Connie Cunningham of Afton and Jessica Frigetto of Montrose, Colo.

The bride graduated from East Union High School, attended Simpson College and graduated from Palmer Chiropractic School. She owns Mesa Family Chiropractic in Montrose, Colo.

The groom is employed by Connors as a core driller.

The couple resides in Montrose, Colo.
