Doris Weese, 90, of Lenox died April 26, 2011, at Clearview Home in Clearfield.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Doris has been cremated. Ritchie Funeral Home, 124 S. Main St., Lenox is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given in her name. Online condolences may be left at www.ritchiefuneralhome.com.

Doris Margaret (Moore) Weese, daughter of Nellie (Worm) and John Moore, was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Taylor County.

Doris graduated from Lenox High School in 1938.

On Oct. 3, 1938, Doris married Edgar H. Weese in Lenox.

Doris was a homemaker.

Doris is survived by her children, Margaret (husband Bob) Million of Hereford, Ariz., Deloris (husband Rod) Hansen of Pittsburg, Mo., Barbara (husband Mick) Bennett of Creston, Stanley (wife Connie) Weese of Grove, Okla., and Billie Dean (wife Sue) Weese of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosie Hupman of Nevada, Mo., and Arline Elliott of Saint Joseph, Mo.; her adopted family being made up of the residents and staff of Clearview Nursing Home; Rocky and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1992; daughters, Juanita Weese at infancy and Rosalie Norton and her husband L.V. Norton; brothers, Clarence and Bud Moore; and sister Vernita Ware-Dudley-Tull.
