Adair County Sheriff

Enisa Dubo, 29, of Grimes, was charged on an Adair County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of operating while intoxicated 1:02 p.m. Jan. 26 in Adair County.

Dubo was being held on $1,000 bond in the Adair County Jail.

Joseph White, 30, of Adair, was charged with violation of a no-contact order 7:53 a.m. Jan. 28 at the Adair County Jail.

According to an Adair County Sheriff's report, White was in the Adair County Jail for a previous charge of domestic abuse assault. White attempted to contact a protected party by text message twice by using another inmate's texting advice. White admitted to using the device to send messages to the victim.

White was being held in the Adair County Jail awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.

Barry Montgomery, 43, of Springfield, Illinois, was charged with operating while intoxicated 2:31 a.m. Saturday on Guthrie Street in Adair.

According to an Adair Police Report, officers received a call stating a vehicle had driven into the side of a shed in Adair. When police arrived to the scene, officers observed a 1998 GMC pickup in the alley touching the shed. The shed displayed noticeable damage. Officers went to the driver's side to see puke running down the exterior of the vehicle. Montgomery was unconscious in the driver's seat with puke covering himself. After exiting the vehicle, Montgomery had difficulty speaking and maintaining balance and had an odor of alcohol coming from his breath. Montgomery admitted to being drunk and having drinks from the bar in town.

Montgomery was being held on $1,000 bond in the Adair County Jail.
