Stephanie Jackson was 56 years old when she was killed Nov. 16 in her Nashville, Tennessee, home.
Stephanie was the youngest daughter of Dr. Harry and Jean Brom. She was born and schooled in Creston, before ultimately starting her career in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held Jan. 20 in Phoenix, Arizona, by her two sons. Memorial contributions can be designated to the American Cancer Society, as Stephanie had defeated breast cancer only a couple years earlier.
