Timothy Ray Pingree, 28, 500 N. Vine St., was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way after an accident 11:36 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of North Sumner Avenue and West Howard Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Pingree, driving a 2008 Chrysler west on West Howard, came into the intersection not yielding to the stop sign and struck a 1996 GMC driven north on North Sumner by Dwight Allen Chumbley, 45, 1501 N.
