Dennis Case, 58, of Creston died May 19, 2015, at Greater Regional Hospice Home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St. The Rev. Tony Thurston of First Christin Church, Creston, will officiate. Interment will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3300 Mulberry Ave., Muscatine. Open visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Dennis James Case, son of Helen Irene (Bennett) and Jim LeRoy Case, was born July 25, 1956, in Creston.

On Sept. 25, 1972, Dennis married Bonnie Sue Elshoff in Muscatine. Sue preceded Dennis in death on Jan. 25, 2010.

Dennis worked at Heinz Manufacturing for 38 years. Dennis worked as a foreman in the filling department where he made the small ketchup packets. He retired at age 55.

Dennis lived all of his adult life in Muscatine, and relocated to Creston in November 2011 to be near his family.

Dennis survived by his mother Helen Case and her long-time companion Wayne Gridley of Kent; father Jim Case of Rock Island, Ill.; brother Tim (Tammy) Case of Creston; sister Sandy (Junior) Michael of Creston; and stepson Jeff Case of Davenport.

In addition to his wife, Dennis was preceded in death by his sisters, Rosemary Case and Jennifer Mason; and grandparents, Harold and Daisy Bennett and Lyle and Mary Case.
