Learning Express

Did you know the Orient Public Library offers 24/7 remote access to Learning Express Library? The latest version of this powerful online learning resource for academic and career development is available at no cost to Orient’s library patrons.

Go to Orient Public Library's website, www.orient.lib.ia.us, click on the Learning Express icon and enjoy free, unlimited access to interactive skill-building courses in math, reading, and writing and practice tests for the ACT. Library patrons can then use this website from a home or library computer, creating your own account is recommended.

You may browse the site before registering, but once you locate a resource you’d like to use, you will be prompted to register before you can access it. Registration enables you to store any tests, eBooks, or tutorials for future use.

Learning Express Library allows you to create your own individualized login and do practice tests on a wide variety of skills – SAT, ACT (college prep), civil service, postal, AP tests, GED exam preparation, elementary and middle school skills, real estate, computer tutorials, and more. Your login allows you to stop and start your tests at your convenience and keep a record of what you’ve done, and how you’ve scored.

Elementary and middle school skills may be of interest to parents as the website is known for basic skills improvement in reading, writing, math and basic sciences. Skill tests are appropriate for grades four and up.

Everyone is encouraged to visit the website to try it out. The Learning Express website is free for all Orient library patrons.
