Lance Lynam, 44, of Lorimor was charged on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fifth-degree theft 4:54 p.m. Wednesday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.
Lynam was being held awaiting bond hearing.

Randy Gene Hall, 46, 611 W. Adams St. Apt. 4, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia 9:27 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Irving and North Walnut streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Hall was stopped for no license plates. During the stop, Hall consented to a search of his vehicle, and it was discovered he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, 1.7 grams of methamphetamine was discovered on his person. Hall admitted to using methamphetamine just prior to the stop.
Hall was released on $1,000 bond.
