Broadcast info

Iowa State University’s football season opener on Saturday against North Dakota State will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. That game is scheduled to kick off at 11 a.m.

Fox Sports 1 can be found on channel 52 on Mediacom, channel 219 on DirecTV and channel 150 on Dish. As of Wednesday, Dish Network and Fox Sports 1 were still involved in re-transmission consent negotiations.

As it stood Wednesday, Dish Network customers, including around 275,000 households in Iowa, won’t be seeing at least four college football games on FS1, because Dish Network isn’t willing to pay what Fox is charging.

Additionally, the Iowa State-Kansas State Big 12 Conference opener on Sept. 6 at Jack Trice Stadium also is scheduled for FS1.
